Crazy Typing Motion Thing

My mom didn’t say anything about the night before
I’ve been dating the same girl for the past two years. We both are majoring in law enforcement, and I decided since we both will be graduating this year that I should introduce her to my parents. The only problem is that my parents live about five hours up north.

Last weekend we decided to go on a little adventure to my parent’s house for the weekend. After my first class f, the day I went to go pick up Sandy. I got there to find her still sawing logs and nothing packed. I woke her up and got her going. We end up leaving two hours late.

By this time it is 1:30 PM and we still have a five-hour drive ahead of us. I told Sandy that we would not be stopping because my parents were cooking dinner for us and they expected us there before 6:30. I wasn’t even sure that we would make it there BY 6:30. The traffic wasn’t too bad and with me flying down I-75 at an average speed of 85 mph, we made it there on time.

My mom came out to greet us. I introduced them both and they seem to kick it off. Sal, my little brother (who’s actually bigger than me) came out next and they also seemed to get along. As Sal and I got all of our stuff, my mom took Sandy in to meet my dad.

I walk into their house to see Sandy drinking a beer with my dad. She was laughing and having a GREAT time. Sal told me that we’d be staying in his room and he’d be on the couch in the basement.

After dinner and watching a little tube, my P-units went to bed. Sal asked me if we wanted to play some drinking Monopoly. I was a huge fan, and inventor, of the game so we set it up and played (if your wondering ages here. I’m 24. Sandy is 22. Sal is 19.) Anyways so we played from 11:00 to about 2:30, and I won as usual. I counted the empties and between the three of us we drank 35 cans of beer. We all decided it was time to crash.

At about 4:00AM I feel Sandy getting up. I asked her if she needs anything. She didn’t say anything so I decided to go back to sleep.

Well that was a bad idea.

A half hour later she came back to our room crying. I asked what was the matter. She said that she slept walked right into my parent’s room. She said she wasn’t sure how long she was there or what she was doing. I told her my mom was cool and she wouldn’t care at all.

The next morning I woke up at 9:00 and went out to the kitchen. My mom was cooking breakfast for my dad. My mom didn’t say anything about the night before. I went back into our room and told Sandy my mom didn’t say anything and not to worry.

After we ate Sandy went to shower. My mom asked if Sandy sleep walks. I told her yes. My mom told me she asked her if she was lost and Sandy said, “I have to balance the registers.” Then she did some crazy typing motion thing with her fingers. My mom then helped her into the hallway where she woke up and was very disoriented.

I told her that Sandy was crying about it last night but she didn’t know what had happened. My mom said she didn’t care and when Sandy got out of the shower, she told her not to worry about it and to stop being silly.

So anyway Sandy has decided to never play drinking Monopoly at my parents house ever again.

Sandy, it could have been much, much worse. Trust us.
