Dry county, schmy county!

This year FSU lost the UF game, thanks to Rix. So some friends and I wanted to get piss ass drunk. The game was on a Saturday night. But you see, FSU is in Leon County. And Leon County is a dry county on Sundays. And, by the time we got the money together, it was Sunday morning. We decided to try many different places to see if we could get served. The only problem was that we were all underage....only Freshmen.

So we got our gf's to go up to guys and ask them to get the beer for us.

Brilliant, right?

We went to club Publix, but we couldn’t get anything there. We then tried Walmart....no luck. Then we went to Albertsons and found these Asian guys who went to TCC who would buy us the beer. But Alberston's wouldn’t get us beer either. So we decided to drive to this truck stop which in Gadsen County. But they were dry on Sundays, too.

My friends had given up, but I don't give up so easily.

So I convinced them to try this one gas station with this Indian lady there. She can barely speak English, so I was sure she would not know it was a dry county. Lo and behold, I was right.

It just so happened some guys from PIKE were getting beer, and said they would get us some drinks too. So an adventure on the town ended in us getting drunk. Damn county laws can’t stop a couple of persistent, committed college students.
