Institutional Corruption

I struck a dirty deal after class with this chick
Junior year, I lived on campus. I drank a lot and stayed out late, so by the time I’d get back to the dorm, there were no close parking spaces. Rather than park in the boonies, I created my own space.

It was a good space, near the front, and not blocking anyone. However, the UPD had a different opinion. Every morning after I parked there, I would get a ticket. They accumulated to about fifty or sixty. I was a stupid little pinhead, so I didn't care--that is until I found out that the school would not release my grades or let me graduate until I paid them.

Fortunately, I knew this not-that-bright girl that worked in the UPD administration, and I told her of my plight after a class we shared. A dirty deal was struck. I let her copy off my final exam, if she went in and wiped out all the tickets that were on the police computers.

It worked out well, and gave me my first lesson in institutional corruption.

Do you think, ethically there are different levels of cheating--or is cheating just cheating, period?
