My Munchie Mini Mart

I was happy to see that my dorm business started to gain many clients as well as many repeat clients.
As an inspiring entrepreneur during my freshmen year at the University, I decided to start a small business out of my dorm room.

Everyday I would stock up my refrigerator that I had in my room, with sandwiches that I would buy for $2.00, bags of potato chips that I would purchase for .35 cents, and cans of soft drinks that would cost me .40 cents each.

What I decided to do is put the word out in every floor of the dorm that my mini store was open at any time of the evening, especially for those students that would get the night munchies. The night munchies at times was from the effect of smoking pot, or it could be just someone hungry from studying so much.

I was happy to see that my dorm business started to gain many clients as well as many repeat clients.

The good news for me is that the profit for me on this small business was "over the top". For instance, the $2.00 sandwich I would sell for $8.00, the .35 cents bag of potato chips went for $2.00 and the .40cents soft drink would sell for $2.00.

In the event my customers wanted the "works" they would get a $2.00 discount and only pay $10.00 for the three items that actually cost me $2.75.

It was a win-win situation, because the only vending machine was located in the cafeteria and during my Munchie hours the cafeteria was closed.

Since it was a supply by demand business I quickly learned to take advantage of my "munchie" friends that knew that they had a dorm mini store at their disposal.
