I will never trust people I meet on the Internet

It was right after spring break. My boyfriend and I had just broken up and I was feeling lonely. Winthrop has a 6:2 girl/guy ratio. So my pickins were slim. I was talking to my friend Matt on the computer who goes to UT (University of Tennessee). He was piss drunk and so was his roommate. Being bored (and did I mention lonely?) I started teasing the roommate a little, and he ended up calling me.

We talked on the phone all night and every night for like a week after that. I asked him to send me a picture of him via the Internet. I got a picture of an extremely attractive guy with gorgeous eyes and thick, dark hair. I knew I had to meet this guy. So, I invited him down to South Carolina for the weekend.

Matt and the hot roommate got drunk (again) and drove 6 hours to see me. When they arrived I walked over to the car and gave my friend a hug and looked at the "hot roommate." This wasn't the same guy in the picture. I asked Matt where the hot roommate was. I was looking at this 5'10" fat guy with a Moses beard and greasy hair. He nervously said "I’m the hot roommate."

My mouth dropped. I couldn’t believe I had asked this guy to come for an entire weekend!

I told Matt to go up to our friend AJ's room and I would call them later. I went back to my room and thought I had lost them. But, AJ called about an hour later and said there was a concert that the guys were going to and they needed a hot escort. I had no good excuse, so I went.

Halfway through the concert, I started complaining about how I felt sick (I didn't really). And at the end of the concert, we walked outside, I grabbed my stomach and said "I’m going to hurl" as I ran off.

Thankfully, the roommate got the hint and they drove back to TN that night after having a few beers. I will never trust people I meet on the Internet, ever again—-ever!
