I was sick of living back east, so I was excited to get into CSF and drive myself 2300 miles away from home to attend. The day I got there, I got a suprise - a ROOMMATE.
Now, to most people this wouldn't be a problem, except I specifically asked not to be roomed with anyone. I was never told that I would have a roommate. Therefore, it started out rocky.
After three months I'd had enough of his shit and got him to leave (that's another story). Then things got crazy.
The other review on this site says having a relationship on campus is difficult, and that's one hell of an understatement. If you have sex with someone on campus, chances are she's done at least two of your friends, or friends friends. The school is just too small.
Rumors fly everywhere, and for a school that is supposed to provide a nurturing atmosphere for young creative minds, there sure are a hell of a lot of destructive thinkers. One professor called me a homophobe in front of a cafeteria's worth of people since I opted not to stay and listen to his gay experiences over lunch.
In the two years I was there, I was called a drug addict, a misogynist, a homophobe, and my favorite, a nazi. Most of the time, this was by one of the many radical thinking professors who wouldn't stand a chance at any other school.
I could name names, but with the amount of them out there, I don't really need to. If you're not totally into being walked on and made to accept and love every kind of individual who would have been institutionalized forty years ago, then don't go there. Main bullet point I got out there are that straight white people have ruined the world.
Same goes if you're a loner. You need to be involved in a clique, or else you don't stand a chance. God forbid any student there is content enough with him or herself that they don't need to be constantly reinforced by rich dipsh*ts with emotional problems.
Even the dean gets snide with you, when she's not out spending your money researching the differences between light skinned and dark skinned black people. That's not a joke, that's what she did before becoming dean. If you don't believe me, look it up. She's white, by the way.
It makes me sick to my stomach to think that those people got $60,000 out of me. I could go on, but it's really not worth my thought process.

Not a story, but we'll publish a rant against a school. Just don't sue us.
