I always tell people that the weirdest things seem to happen to me and only me...I never hear people who have the kind of stories I have, and things just keep getting stranger everyday.
The latest piece of weirdness:
I heard about this new site where you can meet cute boys, and I started thinking about my boy situation of the moment: all the guys I'm meeting when I'm going out to bars are losers, I have no prospects...maybe I should give this "online dating" thing a shot.
So I went to the site and found some exceptionally hot guys there. The site is weird, though, because you can trade for the guys like you're trading baseball cards or something - but you're trading real people.
Anyway, I found this hot guy who seemed really cool and ended up contacting him, and we traded a few emails and then talked on the phone a bit and decided to meet up. Because that weekend was Halloween weekend, we decided to wait until the next weekend to meet.
But in only the week between that day and the day we actually met up, he called me about 25 times and kept asking me where I was and who I was with. At that point, he was starting to look like a stalker-type character.
I ended up meeting him for dinner the next weekend anyway, though I don't know why I agreed to it. When he picked me up, he was very polite and almost a little shy. We went to a wonderul restaurant and ordered food and drinks, and the dinner actually started off well, which surprised me.
Unfortunately, those drinks ended up livening him up a little too much. He became really agressive and pushy and started telling me all these crazy sexual stories from his past, which I really didn't need to hear.
Then he suggested that we go back to his apartment and "get it on" since I'm just a "whore [he] met on the Internet." Little tip guys: this is not how women like to be wooed.
So I got up to go to the bathroom, called a friend, and had the friend pick me up at the restaurant. Not a good date at all. I think that's the last time I'll try dating anyone I meet on the Internet.
