Late September of our freshman year, two of the kids in the hall across from us, had their birthdays in the same week. So we decided to throw a party, strippers and all.
Policy was (the policy changed after this incident) that the Hall director and security had to be notified about a stripper coming, and the room had to be inspected for alcohol and other illegal substances. My roommates and I allowed them to hide the alcohol for the party in our room until after the search was completed. One other limitation was that there could only be two people in the room.
So as the time for the strippers arrival neared we had to kick out some of the people who hadn’t paid. One of these was one of my roommates. He decided to chill in our room until the show was over and we started drinking. When the strippers arrived, they asked this roommate to use our room to change. He agreed on the terms that he wouldn’t leave them alone in the room. This was a good idea. When the strippers decide to take a break for water and whatever, my roommate and my RA come to me and say we have a situation.
It turns out that the strippers and their bouncer were stealing our alcohol and doing lines of cocaine off my roommate’s desk. So the strippers go back to their show and the RA decides to call security and the police, but first he warns us that they are going to search the room, so if we have anything we better get rid of it. We quickly ran the drinks to another room just before the cops arrived.
The cops tore apart the entire room and found no more cocaine. They did, however, find enough pot in their bags to arrest the strippers and their bouncer. They were taken out and we all get questioned.
That was the night that changed the stripper policy at Quinnipiac University.
