The mystery illness was never diagnosed

I have always been somewhat of a prankster and I had this one girlfriend, in particular that I used to play jokes on. She had this hat she thought she looked so great in. Well I hated that hat. What's worse is she wore the stupid thing to school and church and out to the clubs and virtually everywhere we went.

I found out where she got it and went out and bought TWO more just like it. One a little bigger and one a little smaller than hers. I started switching them. One for two or three days then the other for the next two or three days. After a few weeks I went to her place to pick her up for a date and she wasn't there.

It turned out that she had phoned her mom about her "problem" and her concerned mom came and took her to the emergency room. She told the doctor her head was swelling and shrinking by a full hat size every few days.

Needless to say the mystery illness that befell her was never diagnosed--well until now, I guess.
