This spring break my friends and I went to Florida and camped out in the state's biggest state park.
At our camping area there were no other college kids, just families and couples. We would go out all day and go to the beach, party and then come back late at night.
The first night there we forgot about rule number 1 of camping, dont leave food out or the animals will come. When we arrived at our site at 2am we had 5 racoons and possums eating all our food and ravaging our campsite.
We chased them away, picked up our empty food containers and then went to bed. As we just got comfortable we heard what sounded like a snort. We didn't think anything at first but then we heard a racoon yelp!
The giant creature came to our tent and brushed its nose up against it. It happened to be right next to my friends sleeping bag and he froze in fear. The animal, which was a wild bore, paced round the campsite smelling for food and trying to find a way into our tent.
We layed in the tent motionless for 30 minutes while the wild beast stayed around our tent. After it left, we were able to fall asleep peacefully but everynight after we were a little cautious about the bore coming back for 2nds.

There are other ways to feed the pigs. But the best college pig story is in our book
