The Narrow Path
Cult religions, video evangelism, and the power of fear. While other music videos have attacked religious hypocrisy, "The Narrow Path" breaks new ground by presenting a child's perspective on living in this environment. Isolated and lonely, the child lives in a constant state of fear. "The Narrow Path" explores this world and leaves the viewer to ponder the long-term consequences that childhood trauma can have on the psyche. Film Frat writer Ryan McNally makes his directing debut with the music video "The Narrow Path," a song by acclaimed Atlanta metal band Shockplate. The video has been selected to screen at the 2003 Crossroads Film Festival in Jackson, Mississippi, and fest-EYE-ful 2003 in Texarkana, Texas. Click here to watch "The Narrow Path" music video!
